BS Liquors

In 1893, BS learned that his workers loved a whiskey distilled by one of his employees, Jacob Wright, at a pot-still hidden in the hills above Black Canyon. He bought the recipe and rights to the brew the whiskey from Jacob and began production under the label ‘BS Whiskey’. Early shipments were sent to bars in San Francisco at a generous introductory price.

‘BS Whiskey’ was an overnight success. Orders flowed in from San Francisco and then from Sacramento, Portland, Seattle, and even Denver. BS built a track-side distillery to handle demand and has a fleet of box cars that transport ‘BS Whiskey’ up and down the West Coast.
